Director / Senior Construction Manager
Mr. Sam Di Pasquale is a founding Director at YYZed Project Management Inc. With an inherently masterful understanding of risk-averse land development, project equity financing, cash flow management, and all building construction discipline, as well as means and methods. He is a Canadian Construction Association accredited “Owner’s Project Manager” and an accredited “Senior Construction Superintendent” (Gold Seal Certified) with over 30 years of global practice in Canada, the United States and Mexico, amidst a background in civil engineering.
Mr. Di Pasquale met the land development, building construction community with an enthusiasm to galvanize both, his own firm as well as carry progression and innovations to the business itself. This philosophy comes into play between a technical perspective, management procedures and spatial awareness of the local building authority’s relationship with the industry as a whole.
In his role, Mr. Di Pasquale is on the cutting edge of market trends, and the overall competitive business landscape, then applying these insights to a client’s project success. Exploring his role as an executive from a passionate and goal-oriented standpoint, Mr. Di Pasquale has enriched both the community and his team members with dynamic leadership. He can shift readily between the “big picture” and the small-but-crucial details while cultivating trust through open communication among all stakeholders and associates in every project lifecycle.
Director of Operations
Alan Savage is a senior Project Management executive, former lawyer and a founding Director of YYZed Project Management. Mr. Savage has 26 years of professional experience in real estate development, construction projects and legal practice. Mr. Savage obtained a business degree from Queen’s University and law degrees from Southampton University (England) and the University of Western Ontario.
Mr. Savage has extensive experience in managing all facets of land development through an enviable portfolio of projects including high-rise residential, commercial, institutional and industrial developments totalling over $1 billion in value. He has formed strategic alliances with industry experts, consultants, trade contractors and investment partners to ensure the highest standards in project organization and implementation. Relying on his business background, Mr. Savage has established a successful approach to project capitalization by creating strategic partnerships for both equity and lending-based financing solutions. His progressive corporate vision and reputation for accountability have also been instrumental in helping to solidify the growth of the company.
As a former lawyer, Mr. Savage handled cases that were judicially reported and which generated widespread media attention. He also appeared before all levels of Court in Ontario and served clients in multiple business sectors from across Canada and around the world.
